The Jardins de l'Ange are being honoured



On Thursday 4th April 2024, Mr Jean TERLIER, MP for the 3rd district of the Tarn département honoured the Jardins de l'Ange au Château de Verdalle by granting them the National Assembly (French Parliament) Medal during an official ceremony at the Chamber of Commerce in Castres.

We arer grateful for this recognition which honours not only Francine and Christian but also all those who contributed to making these gardens are reality.

Here we are, the park opens its doors to the public!

It is a great joy for us to welcome you. We sincerely hope that the visit of the Jardins de l'Ange will seduce you and bring you serenity and wonder.
Come alone, with your family, as a couple or with friends or with a groups The 29,000 sqm (7.5 acres) of gardens have been created for the enjoyment of visitors of all ages.
These gardens are the fruit of an inspired woman's Vision, the Will of a team of volunteer friends and a Wish for a protected nature and a happier humanity.

RENDEZ-VOUS AUX JARDINS national days



Friday 2nd, Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th June 2023

The Gardens of France are in the spotlight with the theme of "Garden Music"!

This year, for the first time, Les Jardins de l'Ange are added to the list of the great and beautiful French botanical heritage.
29,000 sqm of gardens with numerous themes that will surprise and amaze you.
Allow 1h30 to 2 hours for the visit.

Guided tour of the gardens: 11am - 2pm - 4pm
Admission: general admission fees apply BUT the guided tour of the Gardens is free during the 3 days (tours limited to 50 persons at a time)

GARDENS GNOMES alive! - Lend a helping hand...



4 afternoons a year to get your hands dirty!

For those who want to enjoy the park in a different way: by helping out . Four afternoons a year, you can volunteer to help our team.
These afternoons of helping and sharing in the gardens when these are closed to the public always end around a friendly snack.

Dates for 2023: Saturday 18th March - Saturday 22nd April - Monday 26th June - Saturday 4th November
The timetable will be sent to those who register and may vary from one season to another depending on the amount of sunshine.

EUROPEAN HERITAGE DAYS



Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th September 2023

Visit the Château de Verdalle and its gardens during the Heritage Days on the theme "Living Heritage".

This annual event allows visitors to discover or rediscover the rich French and European architectural heritage.
The history of the Château de Verdalle begins in the 11th Century. Christian d'Hau takes you on a journey through the corridors of time of this place by telling you the highlights of its history.

You can also visit the wonderful Jardins de l'Ange . Allow 30 minutes for the guided tour of the chateau and at least 1 hour for the Gardens.

Guided tour of the castle: 11am - 2pm - 4pm
Entrance fee: general admission rates appy BUT the guided tour of the Château is free during the 2 Heritage Days.
